In Saloon Showdown each player represents a character who generally has bad intentions at the table and above all a nice price on his head. The aim of the game is to accumulate more prestige than the other gunslingers. Prestige is given by the sum of your Loot and your Bounty, subtracting any Wounds.
The intent of this game is to recreate the classic saloon atmosphere of western movies. An apparently calm and study start, with glances that cross; then a slow crescendo, the table that overturns, a sudden shaking of the hand and finally... only gunshots and punches.
Saloon Showdown was funded on Kickstarter in December 2020 and will be available in stores starting from November 2021. In the campaign it was also possible to purchase the game expansion, Back in Town, which adds depth and a pinch of madness to the base game: two new exclusive characters, a sheriff star to wear, a hammer (anti-stress PU) to throw at other players...
